I need to read part two first, then I will know the whole story and if I liked how it ended. But Laura, I will tell you this. I absolutely LOVE it so far! I will update you again in a little while!
Sure I have to read that part also.
I really like it. I think it's cool because it's not your average fairy tale.
Okay everyone...I have finished the book (sorry I didn't write earlier).
The whole story had me MUCH more interested than I ever would've thought I'd be. It was a myth unlike any other I have ever read in my life. I felt like I was in the story and could relate to all of the characters and see everything that Orual described in the book. I never once (and I am quite serious about this) got bored or didn't enjoy reading it. It had me engrossed in the story the entire time.
At the end, when Orual saw Psyche again, I felt so happy for Orual. More happy than I had ever felt for her before in the story. It was just so awe-inspiring.
The part that really had me on the verge of tears was when Orual looked in the painting and saw that it was really PSYCHE who was about to drown herself in the river and that SHE (Orual) was the voice calling out "Do not do it, do not do it." My eyes grew extremely wide and I gripped the book so tight because I was so into it!
All in all, this is one of the best books I have ever read.
