I am loving the class and cannot wait to get started on the book tonight after dinner! I am going to get cozy on the couch, with no distractions, and read with full enjoyment. I'll let you all know how I like the book soon!!

well...heehee I need to really sit down and read what I was going to get done Sat-Mon... I'm in chapter 2 and don't think Orual has a case yet. But that's really judging a book by it's cover...and first chapter...and part of second chapter. Hope to get to read a lot tonight...we'll see how that goes.

I finally started reading! Wow...it truly is a well-written book and has me very interested. I am flipping page after page with enthusiasm! The book is really emotional, too. And it actually has a lot of death in it at some points. All in all, the book really has a lot of depth to it. Orual also states that alomost everyone sees her as ugly. And her father is also horrible to her. I can't wait to keep reading and will let you all know how it's going later on!!

I thought I wouldn't like this book for some strange reason.... I do though!! I was picturing it to be really hard to read or boring and dull but I love it! Matthew- I actually found more in the first/second chapter so far than anywhere else (I have only read through chap. 7 though!).... I kind of exaggerated a lot of events though. I figured lawyers might do that? You know, prove their case and stuff.

I totally agree with you, Anna! I thought it would be very hard to understand and that I'd have to read the paragraphs over and over again to get what it meant. But wow, the phrase "You can't judge a book by its cover" sure isn't kidding! "Till We Have Faces" has me EXTREMELY interested, and I can picture the characters, the scenery and everything else perfectly. Every time I start to read it again, I am never bored and always read with full enjoyment.

I am surprised how long it takes me to read it.... I don't notice the time while I'm reading! Yeah judging a book by it's cover I now know is not a good idea because I wouldn't read a lot of good books then! It is one of the first things I want to do for school.

Hahaha...I understand what you mean, Anna. I know, when I was reading it (before we finished it) I was like, "Mom, can I read first? Please?" And she'd be like, "Whoa...you really like it, don't you?".
